Deliverance can be defined as the casting off or casting out a demon in a person. However, there is much more involved when it comes to deliverance ministry. It also entails breaking generational curses & sins over ones life; coming out of agreement with inner vowels & negative expectations; and severing ungodly soul ties.
The Word promises that in this world we will have troubles. So there are going to be battles. Deliverance doesn't free you from the battle. Deliverance frees you up to battle.
The process of deliverance can vary depending on the person or ministry performing it and on the needs of the individual. Since we rely on the Holy Spirit to lead each session, each persons' experience may vary. However, we make sure each session includes the following:
Some individuals may have more deeply rooted issues that require additional work, such as:
Inner healing is a prayerful process, empowered by the Holy Spirit to minister the love of Christ in areas of your past that had left you broken. The intent is to allow Jesus into those desolate areas of your life and bring healing - mind, body and spirit.
Our sub-conscious acts as a filing system of all the events, including trauma, that we experience during our lives. This can even be events that happened to us in the womb. Inner healing reveals the wounds from our past that Jesus wants to heal.
Inner healing involves sitting quietly before the Lord with your counselors. Asking Holy Spirit to reveal to you the past hurt or would in your soul that needs healing. This may be something you remember quite well or it could be an event that you don't recall because you were too young. Holy Spirit will open up the memory for you. This experience is hard because you will experience the feelings of that moment. We have even had people experience the physical pain from their past memories. But feeling is healing. We then ask Jesus to come onto the scene of your mind. Jesus never leaves us or forsakes us. And he has been with us through everything we've ever gone through. Jesus will reveal himself to you during these memories to heal the stored hurt and trauma. Healing can be experienced in the mind, body or spirit or perhaps in all three.
We have found this is an average length of time. Of course it depends on the individual. Some require more time and some require less. If more time is needed we ask that you schedule another session.
That may be up to your needs and the counselors suggestions. If you do deliverance we highly recommend also booking an inner healing session as well. Inner healing sessions can be booked independently.
Yes and with no exceptions. Deliverance is the children's bread (Matt. 15:21-28, Mark 7: 24-30). This means it is for God's own sons and daughters; purchased by the blood of Jesus. Therefore the distinction has been made by God himself; it is for His children.
God's will is that no man should perish. This means he wants you as His child. In order to do this, we must choose Jesus as a our personal Lord and Savior. We must believe that he is the only begotten son of Father God and when he came to earth he was born of the virgin Mary, he died and was raised again on the third day. He died for your sins so that you could live in eternity in Heaven. You need to ask him forgiveness for the sins in your life and to repent. Repent means to turn away from your sinful ways. If you are ready to ask Jesus to come into your heart, pray this prayer:
Jesus, I come humbly before you and acknowledge that I am a sinner. I repent of the sins I have committed and ask that you would help me to walk righteously before you. I call upon your name and ask that you would wash me with you cleansing blood. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe that you are God's son sent to earth by a virgin birth, to die for the sins of the world. You were raised to life again on the third day that I may have eternal life with you. I ask you to take your rightful place on the throne of my heart and to be Lord and Savior of my life. In your name I pray. Amen.
